PlanGo Modes and Features
The PlanGo suite consists of several mini-apps or modes, purpose-built for the various requirements of a construction project. Scheduler, LookAhead, Journal, and Mobile App modes share schedule editing features that support planning, tracking, and operations from the office to the job site. Standardized user interfaces enable moving from one mode to another seamlessly,
PlanGo’s NarrAItor ™ mode compiles project information and uses AI to create a narrative at any level from a weekly summary of a single activity to a monthly summary of the entire project.
Organization mode enables insight into the organization as a whole, from project status and budget dashboards for a CIP program to resource load forecasting for the entire organization.
PlanGo Modes

PlanGo’s Schedule Mode is its most versatile. The familiar CPM schedule format allows users to:

PlanGo’s Lookahead mode is cast in the familiar LookAhead format common on construction sites. Users can:

Flag non-work days due to weather, holidays, or other reasons

PlanGo’s Daily Journal feature captures the inspector’s or project engineer’s field notes in a time-tested Daily Inspection Report format, with one big improvement over most inspection report formats: it’s all tied to CPM Schedule activities.

PlanGo’s native iOS and Android field apps are a stripped-down version of the PlanGo web app, designed to optimize ease of use in the field. Users can:
Adjust and actualize dates and % complete
Add subactivities
Flag activities to include in LookAhead and Journal mode
Pin activity dates to override schedule updates
Capture photos and notes to document progress and issues.
Data captured in the mobile field apps work seamlessly with Journal Mode, allowing the project engineer to use the mobile apps to document progress on-site, while the web app contains the other features required to file a competent daily report.

PlanGo Features

With PlanGo, keeping.your schedule up to date is easy. PlanGo project oollaborators can see their assignments and update their assigned actiivities wherever they have an internet connection or cell signal. For P6 users, export changes to a file that can be imported to P6. No more tracking down key people over the weekend!

With PlanGo, you can assign an activity to any member of the team, or to an external entity such as a subcontractor, and filter on assignments. Team members can easily switch between looking at the entire schedule or narrowing their focus to just their own individual assignments.

PlanGo allows you to add granularity to your CPM schedule without changing its underlying structure. You can add activities and even whole WBS branches, or you can break down an activity into finer detail with subactivities, creating the to-do lists that a lookahead is incomplete without. These added activities and subactivities do not get exported back to P6, thus preserving the structure of the approved CPM schedule.

Hit a snag halfway into the first day of work? Need to document as-built conditions? PlanGo allows you to add notes and field photos taken with your phone directly to the affected Activity. Documents such as RFI’s or drawings can be attached for field reference.

PlanGo provides multiple means of filtering schedule data: by date range, activity status, assignment, or changed dates. PlanGo filters allows you to stay focused on what’s important.
